You’re not broken. You’re just carrying more than you should have to. Therapy helps you set it down, sort it out, and keep going—with more clarity and less chaos.
Healing doesn’t have to happen alone.
Our group therapy programs offer a supportive space to build emotional skills, explore identity, and strengthen relationships—with peers who get it.
At The Wellness Standard, our group programs offer more than just support—they offer shared growth. Led by experienced clinicians and educators, each group blends structured learning with real connection. Whether it’s practicing emotional regulation, navigating friendships, or preparing for major life transitions, group therapy gives clients the opportunity to grow together—in real time.
We offer a range of psychoeducational groups for children, teens, young adults, and parents—each designed to provide emotional support, practical tools, and age-appropriate guidance through key developmental stages. Groups may include parent-only, youth-only, or combined sessions depending on the topic.
Current Groups Include:
DBT Skills Groups (Ages 12–15, 16–18, 19–23)
Emotional regulation, mindfulness, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness for teens and young adults.

This group is designed for high-functioning teens on the autism spectrum who are ready to build stronger social awareness, improve communication, and feel more confident in group settings. Managing Thoughts, Emotions & Behaviors
Build emotional resilience, reduce stress, and gain real-world coping tools—through the power of CBT.
This group is designed for teens who want practical strategies to understand and manage their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. - Identifying and challenging negative thinking patterns
- Learning emotion regulation tools (for anxiety, anger, sadness)

Managing Emotions, Relationships & Reactions
Learn to stay calm, think clearly, and respond skillfully—even when emotions feel intense.
This group is designed for teens who want effective, evidence-based strategies to better regulate emotions, navigate relationships, and reduce impulsive behaviors.
